Leading academics from the Faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences at the University of Leeds will deliver a series of short, but informative lectures and lead a series of interactive activities, bringing Electronic & Electrical, Civil, Chemical & Process, and Chemistry to life. Meet other students who share your interest in STEM for an inspiring three days, that will change your world.
Come and experience life at a leading University and explore the different engineering options you could study or consider as a career. This course is for Year 12 in England and Wales, S6 in Scotland and Year 13 in Northern Ireland.

What
Staying on-site at the University of Leeds city centre campus, students will experience life as an undergraduate with access to Engineering lecture theatres and laboratories, Leeds Student Union and The Edge sports facilities.
Each day will cover a different engineering topic, which will give you an idea of what it might be like to study engineering as an undergraduate. You’ll meet academics and current undergraduates studying Engineering at Leeds and take part in practical activities in Civil Engineering, Chemical & Process Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Chemistry.
You will be investigating how we can recycle waste materials to make new valuable products, transport and ways of decreasing carbon emissions, the role of line robots and electronics and exploring chemical engineering processes for a sustainable future.
In the evening there will be a series of organised social activities to enjoy or just take time out, to relax in your room. An experienced team from The Smallpeice Trust will be on hand to help and support you throughout your stay.
