During the course, students will delve into the intricacies of rehabilitation engineering and learn how engineering principles can aid post-surgery recovery.
They will also explore the power of medical devices, discovering how sophisticated devices can track vital signs, deliver targeted treatments and monitor patient health with unprecedented precision.
Furthermore, they will unleash the power of ultrasound imaging and motion analysis, gaining expertise in these crucial diagnostic tools. During the course, students will also visit the LifeLab at the Southampton Hospital and learn invaluable skills, including CPR, plus MORE!

Take masterclasses on issues like stem cells and regenerative medicine
Learn about fixing fractures, implants and electric simulation of muscles
Develop teamwork skills and solve everyday engineering problems
Design and build a medical device to solve an everyday clinical problem
