Electrify Your Classroom and Spark STEM Innovation!

Prepare for an electrifying experience with your students as they tackle the Sensor challenge!

Choose from one of three times during the day that fits in with your school timetable for your students to follow along and make their very own electrical sensors! This is a dynamic, hands-on session where your students will collaborate to construct and test electrical circuits operated by sensors.

In the role of budding electrical engineers, your students will delve into concepts such as circuitry, conductivity, and sensor technology, all while immersing themselves in this exciting engineering challenge.

The CREST Awards are a nationally recognised scheme run by the British Science Association. Students will record each challenge they complete in their CREST SuperStar Award passport and once they have done eight, will receive a certificate and iron-on badge. Students must complete all 8 activities to receive their CREST SuperStar Award Certificate and iron-on badge!

All of our STEM activities encourage young people to consider the possibilities of a career in engineering and help them to build life and leadership skills in line with the Skills Builder partnership.

These activities form part of the STEM SuperStars Embark on an 8-session journey to qualify for the CREST award.
