Since graduating from university where I studied Sport Business Management, I have spent the majority of my career to date working in the retail management sector. I have never found my previous roles particularly fulfilling but, since joining The Smallpeice Trust working as an Education Officer, this has completely changed.
Working with young students to inspire them to explore engineering as a career and to ignite a passion for STEM is an incredibly rewarding experience. Working as part of a brilliant team, my job is to deliver STEM days across the UK and to lead on our residential courses over Easter and summer. Working in this capacity has opened up a new world to me and I understand the importance of my role to inspire tomorrow’s engineers.
