Smallpeice Trust Announces Engineering Experience Northern Ireland Course in Partnership with Thales in the UK
The Engineering Experience courses are designed for aspiring engineers in Years 8 and 9, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on activities, team projects, and expert-led workshops. Engineering Experience Northern Ireland will delve into three modules, including cyber security, electrical, and space engineering. During the course, students will learn more about cyphers and encryption, design and build radios and build robots using LEGO® Mindstorms. This immersive experience aims to ignite a passion for engineering and provide students with an introduction to the unique pathways that they can take in their future endeavours.
Thales' partnership with The Smallpeice Trust underscores a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers and innovators. Thales brings its extensive industry knowledge to the course, ensuring students receive a comprehensive and inspiring experience.
