We’ve partnered with the Royal Air Force to provide this exciting and FREE Virtual STEM Day for 10 primary schools across the UK.
Run as a half-day, online workshop, students will be guided through an engaging, hands-on project.
Students will work in teams to design and build three gliders - each being unique in their form, shape, and materials. This project is for students in Year 4-6 (England and Wales), P4-6 (Scotland) or Year 5-7 (Northern Ireland) with up to 45 students from each school able to take part.
Building teamwork, listening, and problem-solving skills, students will learn how to test these gliders, seeing and learning how different factors such as balance, wing shape, and other forces act together to impact flight success.
